Several positions are available in the lab.

Postdoctoral Fellows: highly qualified and motivated individuals are welcomed at the post-doctoral level in the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at UIUC. The research focus of our laboratory is on the development of genetically-encoded FRET biosensors for the molecular imaging of signaling activities in live cells under different microenvironment. Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. in molecular & cellular biology, chemistry/chemical engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, or related field. Applicants with substantial experience in directed evolution, molecular engineering, surface/synthetic chemistry, or cell biology are highly desirable. The positions carry a minimum two-year commitment with opportunity for extension.
